Travel Time:

1 hour uphill (2000 steps), 30 minutes downhill, in shade, breathtaking views, 130 m above sea level 420 m above sea level, possibility to trace the beginning of the SITA motorway trail (stop near the end of the downhill path ).

How to get to the trail:
The path starts from the Arienzo di Positano resort, from a stairway that begins along the Amalfi Coast Road, called Via Arienzo. You can get there by car or SITA bus from the Sorrento-Amalfi line or from the Flavio Gioia company from Positano.


Description:

The path is a connecting link between Positano and the Highway of the Lattari Mountains. Part of the village Arienzo (m 83), from which you take the staircase leading to the village of Nocelle (m 436), where the Church of the Holy Cross rises in 1834.

From Nocelle you can continue in the direction of Montepertuso to arrive, after a few minutes, on the paved road, for about 1.5 km, leading to the hamlet of Montepertuso, so called for the presence of a large hole in the rocky wall that overhangs it , Well visible from every corner of the country. In Montepertuso, in the center of the village, stands the Church of Our Lady of Grace dating back to the 16th century. Near the church, you have to leave the asphalt road to climb the small slargo that is on the right and enter a small alley that leads to a small parking area from which the rest of the route begins on the right. At a height of 364 m, you meet the fork with 331b. Go right to traverse the Vallone Pozzo through a challenging route, recommended only to experienced hikers. The route ends at a height of 652 m, where you will find the road leading to the nearby Church of Santa Maria del Castello, along which runs the CAI 300 (Alta Via dei Monti Lattari) trail
